Our driving skills are also considered because good drivers do not cause accidents. So, if we are good driver and your driving record is good, you'll not have to pay hefty premiums. On the other hand, if you have a bad driving record, the insurance company would consider you a high-risk party and would charge higher premiums. Gender also plays a role because young men are known to cause greater number of accidents than young girls. So, if you are young man, we will have to pay for being young and for being a man at the same time.

While going for an insurance plan, consider all these factors yourself so that we could know what kind of insurance would be best in your category. If we fall in the low-risk category you'll get cheaper car insurance but if we are in a high-risk bracket, you don't have the same options.
