National Doughnut Day
National Doughnut Day is on the first Friday of June each year. The holiday celebrates the doughnut, an edible, ring-shaped piece of dough that is fried and sweeteners.
National Doughnut Day honors the Salvation Army "Lassies" of WWI. It is also used as a fund for needy causes Raiser of the Salvation Army.
